Hi folks,
Seems like an age since we met at Mercy College in Manhattan. I would like to say that I am thrilled by the number of people who attended. Those who did not, you were missed. I know I have posted the registration announcement for the symposium, but I would just like to remind you again to make sure you attend, which means you need to register ASAP.
This symposium is an excellent way to hear some great speakers from across the country as well as doing some serious networking with librarians from the NY Metro area and beyond. Yes, I said beyond, this symposium is anticipated by librarians from outside of our region who look forward to attending every year. So, you never know who you might meet. For new, and aspiring, librarians this is an event you should not miss.
And, the happy news is that we are in a new space this year, but still at Baruch. The new space allows us to have more attendees. But let me caution you, that does not mean you should wait to register. The typical ACRL/NY symposium sells out. And, we don’t allow on-site registration, you will have to register in advance. So, if you haven’t registered already, make sure you do. By the way, the food is always excellent.
Looking forward to seeing you there,
Carrie Eastman
